Welcome!

I have created this BLOG for all of us that belong to you, mom, so we can write our thoughts, post photos, videos, etc. The reason why I guess is so that we can be closer to one-another since we all live so far apart. Now the only way this will work is if ALL of you are willing to participate by writing a short note or posting a photo now and then...Let's see how much fun we can really have...!!!

Thanksgiving 2007 at Mignons!

What a blast we had! Here's a few photos from the day. Click on each photo to blow them up for a closer look. I think everybody had a really good time...didn't you? Next one is in 2009. (Unless we all decide on a family reunion in Nauvoo!) Make your plans now!!!

Bruce's Letter

To all Family & Friends:

Here is wishing you all the best of everything in life. Merry Christmas & we pray for your success and goals in this new year of 2008. May we all remember what Christmas is about and the love Christ has for each one of us.

I have been doing alot of thinking this past year and how fast years are passing by. I can't believe I am 51 years old with a mind of a 30 year old. I remember thinking I was getting old at 30 and if you were 50 (oh my gosh!) your almost done!! ha ha .. Wow!!

Anyway I have come to a conclusion in my old age (they call it Wisdom) that nothing matters I mean nothing, except your personal relationship you have with God and your relationships your have with your family. One of my new goals this year is to mend and nuture and put family on my priority list. I challenge each one of you to do the same. May each one of you be blessed for all you do for all our family who is in need. We all have our struggles and we need to be able to lean on each other and count on each other.

Please send a check or money order payable to Bruce Ross -- ha ha just kidding!!

Here is our family picture taken just a few days ago at the Az. Mesa Temple.
standing from left to right -- Jason, Mina, Misi, Shawn, Jackie, Jamie, Matt, Bryan, Bree, Kala, Kalie, Diane & Decklin.

2nd row left to right -- Pace, Mckala, Cindy, Spencer, Bruce, Jared & Colton.

Love to all -- Bruce & Cindy.

Quick note from David

Well-- I'm not sure why we need this blog, since I was building a family web site and am on schedule to have it done by February 2068 (my 100th birthday), haha.

Actually, I like it. Good choice Mignon!

So speaking of web sites, check out a new Family History site Michael Martineau has brain-child(ed): http://beta.familypursuit.com/ or http://www.familypursuit.com/
If you want to be a "beta" tester, send him an email (info@familypursuit.com). He designed the site to deal with weird families... you should feel right at home.

Out family is doing fine. We have finally got a beautiful front yard full of grass (thanks to the ward, got tired of waiting for me so they made us a service project for the deacons quorum). I'm the handsome guy taking the picture. I'll send a picture of the "after" as soon as I can sneak the camera away from Kathryn.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving!
D.

Thanksgiving 2003

I found these photos from Thanksgiving at my house in 2003. I think we're still a good looking bunch, don't you?

Friday, August 10, 2007

I just thought I would remind everyone about the Thanksgiving reunion this year. I hope you are all marking your calendars and planning on staying at my house that week or whenever you can get here. Lots of space and tents. :) If you don't want to stay here I won't cry but will only throw a small fit as long as you come see me. :) and eat Turkey and other stuff. WE had about 60 people attend 2 years ago, friends, missionaries but mostly family. Arizona people will provide the feast if you can just get here. Love you all lots. Mignon and family.
